1.DDx- herpes, rosacea, DES, FB, viral/allergic conjunctivitis, hordeolum, ocular pemphigoid, discoid lupus, & carcinoma
2. Tx- good hx, biopsy or culture suspicious lesion, warm compresses QID, lid scrubs, topical bacitracin/erythromycin, short course tobradex, 50mg doxycycline BID, tx associated causes |

1.pain,itch,red,small clusters of vesicles that rupture and crust over...can lead to cornea/conj involvement
2. cool compress, topical antiviral(trifluridine 9X day or vidarabine 5X day) if cornea involved, systemic antivirals (acyclovir 400mg 5X/day 10days, famciclovir 500mg TID 1 week) |

2.itching, burning, white nits/eggs, lice at lashes, prearicular lymphadenopathy, follicles, injections, blepharoconjunctivitis 3.remove lice with forceps, vasoline/topical ointment to suffocate lice, Kwell/Nix shampoo for scalp, discard/wash all linens and clothes, treat std if involved |
