LI4 (Union Valley) Function

Yuan Source, Command Point of Face, Entry. Function: regulates Defensive Qi and adjusts sweating, expels Wind and releases the Exterior, regulates the face, eyes, nose, mouth, and ears; activates the channel and alleviates pain, induces labor, restores Yang.

LI4 RX Function

Clears exterior and interior Wind, stops pain, Command point of the Face, clears the nose, contraindicated for pregnancy. LI4

LI4 CAM Point Location

On the dorsum of the hand, between the 1st and 2nd metacarpal bones, approximately in the middle of the 2nd metacarpal bone on the radial side.

LI4 Deadman Point Location

On the dorsum of the hand, between the first and second meta carpal bones, at the midpoint of the second metacarpal bone close to its radial border.
