Non-humidified product is drying and irritating to mucous membranes over a period of time, in COPD patients moderately high doses can produce increased CO2 levels which could cause respiratory depression & even respiratory arrest

Rare - intravenous route may cause systemic hypotension if administered too quickly

Reteplase

Bleeding, arrhythmias, anaphylaxis (rare), hypotension

Salbutamol

Tremor (shaking), tachycardia, palpitations, headache, feeling of tension, peripheral vasodilation, muscle cramps, rash

Sodium chloride 0.9%

Over-infusion may precipitate pulmonary oedema and causes breathlessness

Syntometrine

TXA

Rapid injection might rarely cause hypotension
