How does the Chaplain open the Bible?
By using both hands, placing the left hand at the back of the Bible to Keep it at the center of the Altar, with her right hand on the lower corner of the Bible, She slowly stands the Bible upright. Then using both hands, she slowly opens it until the Bible rests flat on the Altar. Never rest arms or places her hands on the Altar.
Who can open the Bible?
Only the Chaplain.
How does the Chaplain close the Bible?
using both hands, will reverently raise both the front and back covers until the Bible is upright. She places her left hand at the back of the Bible to keep it at the center of the Altar, using her right hand at the lower corner to slowly lay the Bible on the Altar.

When the Chaplain stands to attend at the Altar.
