Why have internet security?

You need internet security because if we didn't our personal files/pictures/information could get into the wrong hands and be visable to anyone. Also spyware wouldn't be under control and it means the people secretly record and watch you.

How do you know you are on a secure website?

If the weblink begins with https://, if the location/status bar has a yellow lock in it and/or if the location bar is blue or green.

Benefits of internet safety

It keeps vital/personal information out of the wrong hands.

It helps/prevents internet related crimes
