Digestive System.
This human body system is responsible for the digestion of foods and absorbing the nutrients from foods. Its main parts include the mouth, esophogus, stomach, large and small intestine and the anus.
Skeletal System.
This human body system is the main structure and support system of our body. We would be a pile of mush without it. Its main parts include the ribs, femur, humerus, clavicle, pelvis.
Muscular System.
This system has thousands of parts. it helps us move, breathe and digest our food. Its main parts include the gluteus maximus, bicep, tricep, and quadricep.
Nervous System.
This system is responsible for all our actions because it controls our thoughts, feelings, emotions and movement. Its main parts are the brain (1), nerves (2) and spinal cord (3).
Excretory/Urinary System.
This body system is responsible for the removal of waste products from our body and filtering blood. Its main parts include the skin, kidneys, bladder, large intestine and rectum or anus.
Circulatory/Cardiovascular System.
This system is responsible for circulating blood through our body and delivering nutrients to each cell. Its main parts include the heart, veins, arteries and capillaries.
Respiratory System.
This system is responsible for our breathing, and the gas exchange (Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen) that happens when we breathe in air. The main parts include the lungs(A), air sacs (B), nose (C), mouth (D), trachea (E) and diaphragm (F).
