Both boosted employment and created work projects.
Hitler created projects such as the autobahn, helped to drop unemployment from 5.6m in 1932 to 0.2m in 1938. Castro kickstarted industrialism in Cuba and create work projects such as draining swaps for property development. This extra work lead to income growth per capita raising to 3.1% around 1960. |

Castro had the committee for defence and revolution to suppress any uprisings through violence and terror.

Castro elevated women to a god-like status and gave them extra rights. He saw women as a way forward.

Hitler had a massive personality cult with statues and the salute. |
