Sweet, Slightly Warm

* Tonifies the blood: blood xu (pale complexion, dizziness, palps, insomnia) Also irregular menstruation, uterine bleeding, & post partum bleeding.

* Nourishes the yin: Kidney Yin xu (night sweats, nocturnal emissions, steaming bone, xiao ke bing)

- Nourishes the blood & tonifies essence: exhausted blood & essence (low back pain, lower extremity weakness, lightheadedness & dizziness, tinnitus, diminished aural acuity, premature gray hair)
