How do u mix Epi pressor

1. Expel 9cc of Epi 1:10k


2. Attach a 3-way stop cock


3. Transfer 9cc of NS from a 10cc syringe into the Epi syringe


4. Replace the 10cc syringe with a 1cc syringe


5. Draw up 1cc of new Epi 1:100k at a time


6. Administer 0.5cc(5mcq) IV at a time

Make an Epi drip

Options: use either 1cc of epi vial(1:1k) or 0.1cc of epi ampule (1:10k)


MIX 1mg in 250cc NS = 4mcg/cc


ADMIN between 2-10mcg/min
