What is the PNS?
a "wiring harness" or pathway of nerves outside of the brain (aka to the peripheral parts of body)
What is the main function of the PNS?
sending signals to and from muscles, organs, etc.

Receives signals from skin, muscles, etc.
What are the two types of receptors and their functions found in the PNS?
Somatosensory - allow sense of touch, pressure, temperature, pain

Proprioceptors - allow feedback of joint position, muscle movement, proper orientation
