What is a noun?
A noun is the name of a person, place, thing, activity or idea.
How do we usually form the plural of a noun?
Usually, add "s" to a noun to form the plural
How do we form the plural of noun ending in s, sh, ch, x or z?
Add "es" to nouns ending in s, sh, ch, x or z
How do we form the plural of noun ending in "y"?
If a noun ends in "y" after a consonant, change the "y" to "i" and add "es".

If a noun ends in a "y" after a vowel, just add "s".
