Skin preparation before lead placement is very important, skin should be cleaned, for males skin should be shaved. Also leads need to be applied with waterproof tape. Patient can go about usual activities with out restrictions. |

Reasons for an EKG? |
As part of a complete physical examination, especially for patients who are 40 years or older, with a family history of cardiac disease, or patients experiencing chest pains. |
