These persons monitor & assist cadets with specific areas of training. They are not assigned to a specific flight, but coordinate activities for all flights in the group with the COC.

This type of inspection evaluates the condition & appearance of your quarters & equipment, in garrison.
Standy-by Inspections in garrison
This cadet position reports to the Cadet GP/CC or CD, and directs the PT program by coordinating with the PT CTA and Cadet flight physical fitness officers.
Cadet Group Physical Fitness Officer (Cadet GP/PFO)
These are the cadet leadership positions who will meet the inspector as he/she enters the flight area for a Stadnd-by Inspection in garrison.
Cadet FLT/CC and Cadet FLT/CD
This cadet leadership position reports to the Cadet GP/CC or CD, and is responsible for training flights and squadrons on all drill & ceremonies activities (parade, retreat, reveille, etc) and evaluating their performance during parades.
Cadet Group Drill & Ceremonies Officer (Cadet GP/D&C)
Upon meeting the inspector for the Stand-by Inspection in garrison, the Cadet FLT/CC will call the flight to attention, salute the inspector, and report :
"Sir (Ma'am), ___Flight is prepared for inspection."
This cadet leadership position is the delegating authority for the group staff to accomplish work details, inspections, or other special duties and taskings; this position must also establish & update the master suspense file.
Cadet Group Commander (Cadet GP/CC)
During the Stand-by Inspection in garrison, the Cadet FLT/CS will accompany the inspector and record discrepancies on individual cadets' _________(form)
AFROTC IMT 84M (males) and 84-1M (females)
This cadet leadership position is responsible for assembling the cadet group for formations and receiving the report from the Cadet SQ/CDs; this position will also ensure common areas outside the dorms are clean & orderly.
Cadet Deputy Group Commander (Cadet GP/CD)
Druing the Stand-by Inspection in garrison, the inspector will inspect the common areas on the ___________(form)
AFROTC IMT 85
This cadet leadership position advises the Cadet GP/CC or Cadet CD of the plan for each drill & ceremony hour scheduled, and serves as the liaison between the Cadet flight drill & ceremony officers and the drill & ceremony CTA.
Cadet Group Drill & Ceremonies Officer (Cadet GP/D&C)
When the Stand-by Inspection in garrison is complete, the Cadet FLT/CC will salute the inspector and report :
"Sir (Ma'am), all flight areas have been inspected"
This cadet leadership position verifies that all sports rules are standardized, and leads the morning PT.
Cadet Group Physical Fitness Officer (Cadet GP/PFO)
This cadet leadershp position report to the Cadet GP/CC or CD, and is responsible for training Cadet FLT/STANDOs on inspection procedures.
Cadet Group Standardization Officer (Cadet GP/STANDO)
This type of inspection focuses on military bearing and personal appearance
Open Ranks Inspection
This cadet leadership position reports to the Cadet GP/CC or CD and is responsible for training Cadet FLT/AO in leading flight academic lessons and group discussion.
Cadet Group Academic Officer (Cadet GP/AO)
During Open Ranks Inspection, the flights being inspected will march to the inspection area, position themselves at the proper location, and stand at _____.
Parade Rest
This cadet leadership position plans and coordinates activities within the flight. He/she also notifies the Cadet SQ/CC of any problems within the flight, and reports flight attendance to the Cadet SQ/CD during formations.
