How do Feminists see religion? |
Religion is a male dominated institution that helps to reinforce gender inequality, beliefs are seen as part of patriarchal ideology that legitimates female sub-ordination which allows gender equality. |

Organisations are mainly male dominated despite the fact that women often participate more in these. |

They largely feature the doings of male gods, stories such as the Genesis, often reflect anti-female stereotypes e.g Eve. The stories are often reflective and interpreted by men. |
