Usually, where an expert is required, the court will order the parties jointly instruct a single expert.



An experts duty is to the court, regardless of the instructing party. An expert is not usally required to attend trial.

Usually, in a non-personal injury case, costs will be summarily assessed at the end of the trial.



Each party is required to file a schedule of costs and serve the same on the other party atleast 48 hours prior to the trial.
