Two main rules to follow when using words like these
1) Need to be used with an indirect-object pronoun (I.O.P.)

2) Mainly used in
-->3rd person singular (when: subject is singular and the infinitive is an activity [regardless of how many]) and
-->3rd person plural (when: plural subject and there is a list of objects) forms
(i.e. gusta/gustan)
What are the indirect-object pronouns
me = me
te = you
le = you (formal), him, her
nos = us
les = them, all of you
Clarification needed for le and les usage.

*Not necessary when using me, te, and nos.
Since le and les can mean many different things, clarification needs to be made:
With le: A usted; A ella; A él
With les: A ustedes; A ellas; A ellos
Examples:
1) I like the dog.

2) He likes the dog.
1) Me gusta el perro.

2) A él le gusta el perro.

2) You love the cars.
1) A ella, le gusta correr y bailar
