Multi-National Corporations
Corporations thyat maintain significant operations in two or more countries simutaneously, but are based in one home country.
Transnational Corporations
Corporations that do not seek to repeat domestic successes by managing foreign operations from home. Decision making in such organizations takes place at the local level, and individuals in the host countries, called nationals, run operations in such country. Products and marketing strategies are uniquely tailored to each country's culture.
Positive Attitude
A frame of mind that reflects seeing good in oneself, in others, and in what one does.
Machiavellianism
A characteristic names after Niccolo Machiavelli, who taught how to gain control and manipulate others. An individual high in machiavellianism is practical, maintalins emotional distance from others, and believes that ends can justify means. The view "If it works, use it" is consistant with those who have high mach.
