Opinion respect- when someone considered important says it's right or wrong
Group consensus: is the majority agree it mus be okay
Personal experience: Your own previous experience are the deciding factor
Conscience: following your own internal sense of right
Principal: appealing to certain ideas that are always right without question
Particular value: something important (a value) decides whether something is right or wrong
Intuition: having a gut feeling about something
Logic: what obviously makes the most sense
Statistics: using numbers to show that something is right or wrong
Legal precedent: if it is against the law it is wrong.
Scientific research: scientific findings show that it is safe/dangerous
Religious beliefs: attitudes/ ideas expressed that come from a particular religious or moral view
Sacred texts: when stories from the bible, the Qur'an and the teachings of Buddha are used
