Write an introduction which defines what the essay is about (e.g. if the essay is about enzymes, state what an enzyme is etc)

Include as many scientific terms as it is humanly possible to put into an essay

At the end of every paragraph link what you have said back to the title of the essay

Aim to write 5-6 paragraphs, taking material from all of the units if possible

If you can throw in a couple extra bits of information from outside of the specification, then do so - always looks good to show a bit of wider reading
