Engine Shutdowns On the Ground
1. For all three types of engine ACAWS warnings (ENG 1(2,3,4) FIRE, ENG 1 (2,3,4) MGT HI and START VLV 1 (2,3,4) OPEN):
a. Pull the FIRE Handle
b. Place the ENGINE START switch to STOP

2. For all other engine shutdowns on the ground, including normal shutdowns and shutdowns for ACAWS cautinos and advisors, place the ENGINE START switch to STOP
Unique Engine Malfunctions
1. Significant engine hp oscillations occur in flight. (Fire handle/ENG SRT switch to stop)
2. Visible fluid leaks. (Fire handle/Eng Srt to stop)
3. Visible smoke or flames (Fire handle/Eng Srt to stop)
4. Significant in flight vibrations (reduce power to isolate. If isolated shutdown)
Engine Fire Shutdown
1. FIRE handle - Pull (PM)
2. Agent (if required) - Discharge (PM)
a. If condition persists, wait a min of 15 secs after the first bottle is discharged and then discharge the remaining bottle.
3. ENGINE START switch - STOP (PM)
Note - If a prop continues to rotate above 3% NP, perform Prop Fails to Feather procedure
4. CROSS FEED switch (manage fuel distribution) - CLSD (PM/CM)
