- cant burn during fire danger season unless permit obtained under Country Fires Act


- in Metro area you can burn when:


Fire is used to prepare food / cooking


Bushfire reduction (permit required)


Burning charcoal in a brazier etc for heating outdoor areas


- in rural (still council) you can burn:


Dry paper/cardboard/wood/garden clippings during certain times


For cooking / bushfire reduction/burning charcoal in brazier etc.



Cant burn treated wood or on any street /road/ laneway
