What are the NEXUS Criteria?
states that cervical spine radiography can be omitted for trauma patients only if they exhibit ALL of the following criteria:
No posterior or midline cervical tenderness
No evidence of intoxication
Normal level of alertness
No focal neurologic deficit
No painful distracting injuries
