Who is Narmer/Menes?
United Upper and Lower Egypt around 300 BCE and was the FIRST king/pharoah.
What was the Old Kingdom?
Largest pyramid (Great Pyramids of Giza) and the step pyramid (Zoser). Absolute monarchy. Prosperous Era. Imhotep was ruler.

What was the Middle Kingdom?
COSMOPOLITAN/ Very prosperous (nome structure organized, boundaries managed, gave power to pharoah), then crashed (Hyksos invade).
What was the Hyksos invasion?
Hyksos invaded and brought bronze knowledge, and new warfare aspects (chariots).
What was the New Kingdom?
More militeristic, and expansialist.
Hatshepsut
Supported no military invasions (conquering). Sent priests to Purt (ancient mythical place) to get perfumes. Built famous temple.

father of akhenaten and built the karnak and luxor (during the height of Egypt)
