- Raise collective to stop decent and cushion touchdown



Fwd Flight


- reduce collective to obtain min side slip angle


- maintain at least 70 kts


- make a shallow approach with nose left


- if 40 kts can be achieved with nose left, land


- if not, go around for AUTO

Single Eng Failure

-Establish OEI flight condition


-Identify the affected engine and shut down

Eng Overspeed - Drive Shaft Failure

-Establish OEI flight condition


-shut down affected engine

Eng overspeed - governor failure

-raise collective to contain NR & N2 within Limits


-identify affected engine


-reduce Tq until normal engine takes up the load


-eng mode switch of affected engine to MAN


-set 20-30% Tq

-Push respective fire button


-identify affect engine and shut down


-land as soon as Poss or Immediately
