Control Rod operability reqs
Each control rod shall be OPERABLE in modes 1 & 2
One withdrawn control
rod stuck.
-Verify stuck control
rod separation
criteria are met - IMMEDIATELY
-Disarm the associated
(CRD) - 2 hrs
Control Rod Scram Times reqs
a. No more than 12 OPERABLE control rods shall be "slow,"
in accordance with Table 3.1.4-1; and
b. No more than 2 OPERABLE control rods that are "slow"
shall occupy adjacent locations.
Apllicable in modes 1&2
Control Rod Scram Accumulator reqs
Each control rod scram accumulator shall be OPERABLE.
-APPLICABILITY: MODES 1 and 2.
Two or more accumulators
inoperable with
reactor SDP > 900 psig.
-Restore charging
water header pressure
to >= 940 psig. - 20 min
AND
-Declare the
associated control
rod scram time
"slow." - 1 hr
OR
-Declare the
associated control
rod inoperable.- 1 hr
One or more control
rod scram accumulators
inoperable with
reactor SDP >= 900 psig.
-Verify all control
rods associated with
inoperable
accumulators are
fully inserted. - Immediately
-Declare the
associated control
rod inoperable. - 1 hr
Rod Pattern Control reqs
OPERABLE control rods shall comply with the requirements of
the analyzed rod position sequence.
APPLICABILITY: MODES 1 and 2 with THERMAL POWER >= 10% RTP.
Nine or more OPERABLE
control rods not in
compliance with the
analyzed rod position
sequence.
-Suspend withdrawal of
control rods. - Immediately
AND
-Place the reactor
mode switch in the
shutdown position. - 1 hr
Standby Liquid Control (SLC) System reqs
Two SLC subsystems shall be OPERABLE.
APPLICABILITY: MODES 1, 2, and 3.
Scram Discharge Volume (SDV) Vent and Drain Valves reqs
Each SDV vent and drain valve shall be OPERABLE.
APPLICABILITY: MODES 1 and 2.
MINIMUM CRITICAL POWER RATIO (MCPR) reqs
All MCPRs shall be greater than or equal to the MCPR
operating limits specified in the COLR.
APPLICABILITY: THERMAL POWER >= 25% RTP.
Any MCPR not within
limits.
Restore MCPR(s) to
within limits. - 2 hrs
