Bean bag

Patient performed dynamic standing balance activity including bean bag tosses to target to challenge pt’s BOS with no BUE support and CGA of therapist to ensure safety. NO LOB notes during today’s session.

Color rings

Patient performed unilateral UE reaching in and out of BOS with tossing color rings to correspond cone displayed in 180 degree in arc form displayed on level floor in front of patient. Verbal cues for proper sequencing of forward stepping pattern.

Cone taps

Patient performed balance and coordination training with focus on foot placement with pt performing toe tap on cones displayed in 180 degree arc form displayed on ground level for functional stepping pattern within environment with BUE support on ballet bar and CGA of therapist.

Scanning environment

Patient performed task with scanning environment and instructed to picked up objects from various height levels including floor surface, over head challenging pt to reach out of BOS with CGA to ensure safety.

Airex task with ball

Patient performed standing task on airex foam pad without UE support and CGA/CLS Including pouncing and catching ball for 2x10 reps and tossing and catching ball for 2x10 reps. Verbal cues to maintain upright posture.

Obstacle course

Patient performed obstacle course including stepping over and around objects displayed on floor surface with 4WW and CGA. verbal cues to decrease distance from object when stepping over for objects due to noted decrease in foot clearance for full stepping transition. All to improve balance and safety.

Therapeutic exercises

Patient performed BLE exercises with 3# ankle for 2x20 reps in seated position for: hip flexion, knee ext with verbal cues to increase ROM, hip


add with blue therball, hip abd and HS curls with progression against blue theraband resistance during today's session. Heel raises and hip flexion in standing. All exercises performed to strengthen BLE and to improve gait and safe transfers.
