Be answer-first |
- List a few possible hypotheses and set out with one of them - Validate why you chose to start with one hypothesis over the others |

Keep to structure throughout the case |
- Don't jump around framework branches - Exclude branches that are not relevant - Summarize findings when switching major branches - Be MECE! |

Gather data the right way |
- ALWAYS segment your data! - Proactively ask for data - Don't be too vague - Quantify whenever possible - Look for historical trend - Compare to industry |

Close the case properly |
- Ask for 1 minute to gather your thoughts - Make actionable recommendations - Choose a side and stand by it! - First make recommendation then provide justification (usually 3 pieces of evidence) |
