Components of the innate immunity
Type 1 Interferon: induces antiviral state by releasing proteins capable of preventing viral protein shmynthesis.
NK cells: recognise patterns present in virus infected cells and induce lysis to these cells.
B cells (Neutralisation): once activated, release unique antibodies which bind to their antigen present in virus receptors to prevent entry.
CD8 CTL (Eradication): activated by antigen presentation, kills infected host cells.
