What is specific density?
The specific gravity of a material is its density divided by the density of water.
It has no units.
What are the units of pressure?
Pa or N/m^2
What is hydrostatic pressure?
The pressure created by the weight of a fluid (liquid or gas).
What is gauge pressure?
The pressure above atmospheric pressure.
What is Pascal’s principle?
If an external pressure is applied to a confined fluid, the pressure at every point within the fluid increases by that amount.
