Define superstition (with example)
Superstition is the belief in supernatural casuality - that one event causes another without any narural process linking the two events - such as astrology and certain aspects linked to religion like omens, witchcraft and prophecies, that contradict natural science.
For example, some people say that breaking a mirror causes 7 years of bad luck. There is no natural process linking the two events which skyrockets the possibility of this being false.
