Path of fds
Fds splits at level of prox phalanx to pass around and underneath the fds
This forms an opening through which the fdp emerged called campers chiasm
The fds slip inserts into the middle phalanx
Describe the flexor tendon pulley system
Pulleys are thickenings of the synovial sheaths
Function to keep flexor tendons in place longitudinally and prevent bowstringing of flexors
Consists of annular pullays and cruciate ligaments
