What are examples of symbolic interactionism?
🔸a compliment to some is a good things,but others can interpret it in a wrong way.
🔸 Similarly to some a tree is a safe haven for organism,but to some it's a habitat for danger
🔸To some shaking a hand is a joy, but to some it's a curtosey
And to some it is a task to show good will they don't posses
What is primary socialisation?
The years from birth of a child to the time when he goes out of the house.
It is first meaning.
When a child sees itself in a mirror and has a red dot on his nose it is obvious to him the thae real him has it,this shows children know how to interpret.
A child learns how to act and behave by seeing their parents do it and react to the things he does .if he is not told wrong or stopped it will develop into a individual norm or habit
How does a child learn primary socialisation?
By language:what he hears at the house ,standard curtosey ,all your values come from langauge
Imitation:child learn, dressing eating ,talking by obsessing and imitating others
Walk:children are taught walking by giving them a walker or a support,without it children rarely walk
Eat:some eat with hand ,some with fork,we lean eating by seeing people around us eat
Dressing:how parents wear clothes,the child wears the same way,clothing shows value.
