Italy (Before de unification, Risorgimento ) :
-Ten states diferents and the Austrian Hapsburg Monarchy controlled northern Italy
-Catholic
-Mainly italian, but some German in the north
Italy (After the congress of Vienna) :
-The king Sardinia, Victor Emmanuel II and his primer ministre Cavour
-Mazzini and Garibaldi and democratic republic
-in 1861 Victor Emmanuel was named king of Italy
-Austria Monarchy was expelled from Italy
-Rome only became part of the unified Italy in 1871
