The Bible was written by about 40 men over a term of 1600 years. Although most of them did not know each other, the Bible does not contradict itself, all while following a major central theme.
The writers' honesty.
Most historical writers tend to hide their land's defeats. On the contrary, biblical authors did not hide their own faults nor that of their people.
Its prophecies always come true.
The Bible predicted the destruction of the ancient Babylon 200 years before the event. Not only did it reveal how the city would fall, but the name of its conqueror.
What does the Bible say?
2 Timothy 3:16- All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness.
