Frontal Plane (Coronal Plane)
An imaginary line that runs vertically across the shoulders, sides, and hips, dividing the body from front to back
Midsagittal Plane (saggital plane or lateral plane)
Imaginary line that runs vertically down the spine, face,and center of the abdomen, dividing the body into left and right portions
Transverse Plane (cross-sectional plane)
Imaginary lines that runs horizontally through the abdomen (at the navel), and through the back to divide the body into top and bottom portions
