Atman
The inner self or 'soul'.

The belief that your actions in this life will determine your fate in the next.

The belief humans are entirely physical beings.

The belief body and soul exist as a single unity. The mind's existence depends on the body.

Reincarnation
The belief a person's soul is given a new body or form after death. Their form is dependent on the actions of their past life.

Resurrection
The belief that life continues after death through the existence of a person in a new distinct life.
A part of Christian, Jewish and Islamic philosophy.
Samsara
The cycle of death and rebirth.
Hindus aim to break this through achieving 'Nirvana' or 'enlightenment'.
