Licensed Resident Broker
A licensed resident broker shall maintain a usual place of business within the Commonwealth. Must Display a copy of their license in a conspicuous location within the business premises
A brokers license may be revoked for failure to notify the board of the change of the business address
Non Resident Licensee
A non resident can obtain a real estate license in the state of Massachusetts. Not required to have a usual place of business within the Commonwealth
Non Resident must file a Power of Attorney instrument with the Chairperson of the Real Estate Board
This allows the chair to accept all legal summonses issued to the non-resident
Real Estate Licensing Law
