Murder
When someone of sound memory and age or discretion unlawfully kills or causes grievous bodily harm leading to death
Intention
Manslaughter
The unlawful killing of one person by another without advance planning. This is in the case of assault where there was no intention of serious harm or death
Without and intention
Difference between murder and manslaughter
The difference is intention. Murder -requires an intention to kill someone causing harm leading to death.
Manslaughter- where death has occurred without intent to kill.
