What are the differences between innate and acquired immunity
Innate is older and found in lesser organisms.
Steps of innate immunity
1. Recruiting immune cells to sites of infection by chemotaxis
2. Activation of complement cascade to identify bacteria
3. Removal of foreign body and dead cells by specialised wbc.
4. Activation of adaptive immunity by antigen presentation
5. Acting as physical barrier to infectious agents eg skin tears peristalsis sweat mucus saliva cilia
