Body is 24" long and 2" wide and tongue is 16" long and 1 1/2" wide.

Jointing means to true or straighten the woods edges and surfaces.

Jack plane is general purpose plane. Used for both surfacing and edging purpose. About 14" long or 350mm

They are abut 10" long or 260 in size and they produce smooth surfaces but not necessarily flat surfaces.

Bevel down and 45 degree angle.
What do block plans do and how big?
Used of one handed smoothing and fitting. About 6" long or 150mm

Bevel has to be up. And angle is 20 or 12 degrees.
What are rip saws used for, how long, and how man points per inch do they have?
Used for cutting parallel to wood grain. Standard blade is approximately 26" or 660mm long with 5 1/2 points per inch.
