Bill is mad then gets read 3 time is house of reps then voted on if passed goes to senate 3 readings then if passed signed by GG then law. Nsw attorney general picks matters to be investigated then commissioner the investigates the issue a report is written then sent to attorney general who then can make a recommendation to government Then bill then law
Levels of government
Federal: federal tax, uni, national projects, wars treaties ambassadors, army, health, social security, trade, transport, communication and immigration
State: public schools, law and order, land sales and building projects, environment protection, gas, electricity, water, housing, health and state roads railways and buses
Local: rates, rubbish removal, tree planting, parks and gardens, building and planning permits, swimming pool, baby health centres, sewerage and drains, street and footpath maintenance, traffic control.
