What are the sources of fat-soluble and water-soluble vitamins?
Vitamin A- Liver, Milk, Fish oils and Egg yolk.
Vitamin D- Oily fish, Cheese, Milk and Sunlight(non-food source).
Vitamin E- Vegetable oils, Whole-grain food, Egg yolk, Nuts and Liver.
Vitamin K- Liver, Vegetable oils and Legumes.
Vitamin B1- Peas, Eggs and Meat.
Vitamin B2- Dairy products, Eggs and Meat.
Vitamin B3- Meat, Fish, Poultry, Potatoes, Whole-grain food and Liver.
Vitamin B6- Same as Vitamin B3 and fruits such as banana and watermelon.
Vitamin B9- Green Leafy vegetables such as spinach and brocolli, Citrus fruit such as oranges and Whole-grain food.
Vitamin B12- Dairy products, Meat, Poultry, Fish and Eggs.

1. Fruits such as citrus fruits, guava, honeydew and watermelon.

Vitamin A- Deficiency: Night blindness, Dry and rough skin, poir growth in children and loss of sight. Toxicity: Fatigue, painful joints, birth defects in babies, nauseaand diarrhoea, liver and nervous system damage, hair loss and skin disorders.
Vitamin D- Deficiency: Rickets in children, Osteomalacia in adults, Weak bones and teeth. Toxicity: Hypercalcemia.
Vitamin E- Deficiency: Rare Toxicity: Rare.
Viatmin K- Deficiency: Blood is not able to clot properly. Toxicity: Rare.
Vitamin B1- Deficiency: Beriberi Toxicity: None known.
Vitamin B2- Deficiency: Ariboflavinosis Toxicity: None known.
Vitanin B3- Deficiency: Pellagra Toxicity: Flushing of skin, Tingling sensation in hands and feet, liver damage, blurred vision, glucose
Vitamin B6- Deficiency: Numbness in hands and feet, Dermatitis, Anaemia and Convulsion. Toxicity: Nerve damage and skin lesions.
Vitamin B9- Deficiency: Anaemia, spina bifida in babies, premature and low birth weight babies. Toxicity: None known.
Vitamin B12- Deficiency: Pernicious anaemia. Toxicity: None known.
Vitamin C- Deficiency: Scurvy. Toxicity: Diarrhoea, Nausea, Abdominal cramps and formation of kidney stones.
