Types of attack
Type I: need visual acquisition of aircraft and target. Gives you the most control of the attack.
Type II: No observation of the target.
Type III: TAC requires ability to provide clearance for multiple attacks in one engagement.

IP = Initial Point (Fixed Wing)
5-15 nm from target area.
BP = Battle Position (rotary wing)
1-5 km from target area.

Heading given in degrees magnetic from IP to target or from the center of the BP to the target.
