· The composite restoration is fully cured to themaximum prior to the patient leaving the office. Due to this fact, the patientdoes not need to wait to eat or drink

· The tooth may be sensitive to cold for a shortperiod of time. If this sensitivity persists for more than a few days orprogresses, the patient should call the office to have the restoration and theocclusion checked. This is usually a sign of an occlusion problem.
