Oil Dipstick.

The oil level should be between the add and full lines, if it is at the add line you would add 1 gallon of oil here (indicate where you would add the oil). The cap should be tightly closed and not leaking oil.

Coolant Reservoir.

Should be between the add and full, securely bolted, reservoir should not be cracked or leaking, cap tightly closed. Hoses should be securely clamped with no cracks, bulges or cuts and no coolant leaks.

Water Pump.

Is a belt driven component, It should be securely bolted not cracked, broken or leaking. The belt should not have more than 3/4 inch of play, not cracked, cut, frayed or glazed.

Power Steering Fluid Reservoir.

Should be between the add and full lines, securely bolted, not cracked, broken or leaking. Hoses should be securely clamped with no cracks, cuts, bulges and no oil leaks.

Power Steering Pump.

Is a gear driven component, should be securely bolted, not cracked, dented and no oil leaks.

Air Compressor.

Is a gear driven component, should be securely bolted, not cracked, dented and no air leaks.

All Hoses in General.

Should be securely connected, not cut, cracked, bulging or leaking and have no missing clamps.

Steering Column.

Should not be cracked, bent or broken with no more than 1 inch play. U joints should not be cracked, bent or broken.

Power Steering Gearbox.

Should be securely bolted not cracked, dented or oil leaks.

Pitman Arm, Drag Link, Steering Arm & Tie Rod.

Should be securely bolted with bolts, castle nuts and cotter pins. Should not be bent, cracked or broken with no play at the joints.

Frame.

Should not be cracked, bent or broken with no unnecessary holes or illegal welds.

Spring Hangers Front & Rear.

Should be securely bolted, not bent, cracked or broken.

Leaf Springs.

Should be securely bolted, not cracked, broken or missing.

U-Bolts.

Should be securely bolted, not cracked, broken or missing.

Spacers.

Should be securely bolted, not cracked, broken or missing.

Shock Absorber.

Should be securely bolted, not bent, or broken with not oil leaks at the base.

Air Brake Hose.

Should be securely connected with not cuts, cracks, bulges and no air leaks.

Air Brake Chamber.

Should be Securely bolted, no dents, cracks or air leaks.

Slack Adjuster.

Should be adjusted to 3/4 inch ideal and no more than 1 inch of play. The push rod and slack adjuster should not be bent, broken, pins and cotter pins should not be missing.

Brake Drum.

Should be clean, free of oil and grease, not cracked or dented.

Brake Shoes.

Should be securely bolted, not cracked or broken, the linings should be no less than 1/4 inch thick, should be free of oil and grease.

Rims.

Inside and outside should not be cracked, or dented with no illegal welds.

Lug Nuts.

Should all be tight, none missing, no rust or shininess that would indicate looseness.

Hub Seal.

The oil level should be between the add & full, should be securely bolted not cracked with no oil leaks and the rubber stopper in place.

Valve Stem.

Should not be bent, broken or touching the rim with the air cap in place with no air leaks.

Steer Tire Condition.

Inside and outside should not be cut, cracked or bulging, missing tread, no uneven wear. The tread depth should be no less than 4/32' with no recaps. The pressure should be between 95-100 p.s.i or factory specific. I can check the tire pressure with a tire gauge through the valve stem.
