Prevents asymmetrical deployment of the spoilers; if spoilers > 20%, instead of spring-loading retracted, they are forced to hold a mid-position

Ground: failed detent mechanism, loss of 1 or 2 hyd pressure; Flight: loss of 1 or 2 hyd pressure

Stall Prot Pusher switch "OFF", stick pusher disconnect is held, G-switch activation (0.5G), AOA decreases

Left or right altitude compensation circuit of the SPC has failed

Spoilers are not stowed and RA > 10'
"STALL FAIL" caution
One or both SPS channels has failed, stick pusher inop
"FLAPS MOTOR OVHT" status
One flap motor overheated (half speed, starts again when cooled)
"FLAPS FAIL" caution
Both flap motors have overheated or failed
What is the purpose of the aileron and elevator flutter dampers?
Prevent flutter when hydraulic power is lost to the PCUs
How are the flap motors powered? Are flaps available on emergency power?
Motor 1 - AC ESS BUS, MOTOR 2 - AC BUS 2, 1/2 speed on emergency power (604 - no flaps)
