Who is exculded from being sponsored?

We find this information under IRPR section 117. An applicant for PR under section 117 (9) of the IRPR may be excluded if



(a) the FN applicant is the sponsors spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner and is under 18 years old;


(b) the sponsor is already sponsoring a spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner and the undertaking has not ended;


(c) the foreign national is the sponsors spouse and


(i) the sponsor or the foreign national at the timevof their marriage was the spouse of another person;
