Political Legitimacy

The view of citizen that their government has the lawful authority to govern

General election

A national election held every two years as required by the Constitution

Presidential Caucus

A local meeting of party members in which the party's nominee is selected.

Presidential primaries

An election conducted within a political party to select it's candidates for the general election

Electoral votes

The presidential vote choices of electors who have been selected through the state popular vote to participate in the electoral college

Frontloading

When voters vote for candidates in a party because of the popularity of candidates at the top of the ballot in the same party

Are funds that are set to be paid in equal amount to funds available from other sources
