Additive task
a task in which a group’s performance is the sum of individual members’ performances. For example, total sales for a group of salespeople in a store is the sum of each person’s individual sales
Autonomous work teams
a team given control of their work and team decisions.
Brainstorming
a group method whereby individuals meet to generate solutions to a problem
Competitive conflict
a conflict in a team in which team members promote their own points of view, have little regard for what others think and try to get their own way adopted
Cooperative conflict
