Just a little refresher about the Jim Crow laws: -They were made to make sure AA not vote. -the 3 parts: Literacy Tests- AA had to take really Difficult Lit. Tests which also required the AA to Read.
Poll taxes- what AA had to pay in advance to vote (even then you would still need to take the LT...)
